A therapeutic approach tailored to each individual.
In my practice, I work from an integrative approach grounded in third-generation therapies, which focus on emotional regulation, acceptance, psychological flexibility, and the development of personal resources to cope with distress. From this perspective, I offer support adapted to each life stage and specific need, through individual therapy, couples therapy, and therapy for children and teens — creating a safe and personalized space for every process.
👤
Individual Therapy.
A confidential and safe space for adults who wish to better understand what they are experiencing and develop tools to cope with it. I work with anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and emotional difficulties, from an integrative and personalized approach tailored to each individual’s needs.

Couples Therapy.
Professional support for couples who wish to improve communication, resolve conflicts, or strengthen their bond. Therapy provides a neutral space where both partners can express themselves respectfully, understand the dynamics of their relationship, and build healthier and more fulfilling agreements.

Therapy for children and teens.
Psychological intervention tailored to each developmental stage, addressing emotional, behavioral, or academic difficulties. The work combines sessions with the child or teen and guidance for families, creating a supportive environment that fosters emotional expression, regulation, and overall well-being.
Third-Generation Therapies
Third-generation therapies, also known as contextual therapies, represent an evolution within cognitive-behavioral psychology. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, they emphasize the relationship individuals have with their thoughts and emotions, helping them develop a more flexible and mindful way of responding to them.
These therapies incorporate concepts such as acceptance, mindfulness, and commitment to personal values. Instead of struggling against distress, they encourage learning to coexist with certain internal experiences while moving toward a life that is aligned with what truly matters to each person.
Among third-generation approaches are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. All of them share an integrative perspective aimed at increasing psychological flexibility and fostering deep, sustainable change in emotional well-being.
Evidence-based approaches.
Third-generation therapies are supported by scientific evidence and are far more than just a passing trend. Numerous controlled studies and systematic reviews have shown that approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions mindfulness (such as MBCT and MBSR) effectively reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders, and are comparable in effectiveness to other standard psychological treatments. For example, a review published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine concluded that these therapies “are effective and valid alternatives to traditional cognitive-behavioral therapy” across various clinical settings.
In addition, multiple meta-analyses and specific research studies have reported favorable outcomes for these interventions. ACT has demonstrated effectiveness in improving key psychological mechanisms and reducing emotional distress in both adolescents and adults, while integrated approaches based on acceptance and mindfulness have shown benefits in anxiety disorders and other mental health conditions. These findings are documented in peer-reviewed scientific publications and leading medical databases, reinforcing that third-generation therapies not only work, but are supported by solid clinical research..
